Brian Sarmiento's career was always distinguished by the multiple clubs he played for and his strong media exposure. After retiring from football and before becoming a participant in Gran Hermano, the Santafesino participated in several television and streaming programs. During an interview with Facundo Parra on the Cuerpo Técnico program, the striker revealed one of the most unpleasant habits of the attacking midfielder. Both shared a team in All Boys at the beginning of 2020. When asked what was the worst thing he saw him do inside a locker room, Parra surprised with an unprecedented intimacy. "A delinquent, boludo. He entered and changed far from the bathroom of the locker room. I don't remember where, but he passed in balls with a cigarette in his mouth. He sat and farted with the door open", revealed the striker in the mentioned program. Immediately, the striker who also played in Chacarita and Independiente, expressed an uncomfortable reaction: "I watched all that and said: 'It can't be, this is not real'. It's the worst example that can be. Or, Brian, please tell me. There are kids here". Sarmiento defended his striking attitude later. "Let them learn. Do you know what happened? That after I went to training and was the first to train. Then I went to the game and was the first to want to win", argued Brian, who accumulated eight appearances in his second cycle in All Boys. The presenter Juancho Russo got into the conversation and pointed out Sarmiento's attitude: "That's casetear. Farting with the door open... You can't solve everything by playing. You have to behave well". The former footballer, faithful to his style, quickly replied: "I would have liked to have you in the locker room. You know how I would have corrected you". Currently, Brian Sarmiento is one of the participants in Gran Hermano Argentina: Generación Dorada (Telefé). Regarding his football career, he started his formation in the Bartolomé Mitre club of the Rosarina de Fútbol League and later advanced in the youth divisions of Estudiantes de La Plata. His departure from the Platense club, motivated by the actions of his environment and under the legal resource of patria potestad, led him to reject a call to the Argentine Under-17 national team to accept an offer from Racing de Santander in Spain. During his stay in Europe, Sarmiento passed through clubs such as Xerez, Girona and Salamanca, all of the Spanish second division, where he alternated appearances without achieving regularity. After his return to Argentina in 2011, he joined Racing Club, and later had brief cycles in Arsenal de Sarandí and All Boys. Subsequently, he lived a stage in Ponte Preta of Brazil before playing in Quilmes. The 2015 season marked his arrival at Real Garcilaso of Peru. His performance in Peruvian football caught the attention of Banfield, which incorporated him in 2016. On July 20, 2017, Sarmiento signed a loan with Newell’s Old Boys. Despite his emotional bond with the Rosario club, the midfielder's passage through the Lepra was marked by a salary claim that led to an administrative conflict. In 2019, he signed a contract with Volos NFC of the Greek Super League and, subsequently, returned to Argentine football with a new stage in All Boys, before emigrating to Aurora of Bolivia and, subsequently, to San Miguel.
